We've recently introduced a New Tab page however you may already have an extension that modifies your New Tab page. In order to get your New Tab page back take the following steps

1. Uninstall the original extension that is modifying your New Tab
2. Reinstall the extension

This works because Chrome will give priority to the extension that was installed most recently.
